In 1969 two forward thinking photographers recognized the need in print advertising for models who were not traditionally beautiful, and the Ugly idea was born. For almost 40 years this niche market has fueled Ugly's success and opened the doors for international expansion. In summer 2007 the Ugly brand landed in NY and provides advertisers with talent ranging from the bizarre to the beautiful, and everything in-between. Along with our already established roster and a steady stream of new faces, UGLY offers our clients an ever-changing opportunity to view talent from every walk of life.

The Ugly brand continues its expansion with the addition of Ugly Talent NY, which was launched in Fall of 2007. This union franchised division has already assembled a successful pool of talent that spans all areas of TV, Film and Theatre.
