Hilary Rowland is said to be one of the top young entrepreneurs of her time. She launched her first two businesses (HILARY Magazine and New Faces�) in 1995, when she was just 15 years old. Today, they are at the top of their fields and she is expanding her online publishing and talent networks to include a number of new sites, launching in coming months.
The Accomplishments
Both award-winning sites, New Faces (www.newfaces.com) was the first online portfolio site (of any kind), and is still at the top of its game as the most respected and popular premier model & talent site. Used by top casting agents and industry pros, the site is the most respected in its sector.
HILARY Magazine (www.hilary.com) was the first, and is still the most popular online women's magazine. In 1995, when Hilary was just 15, she set out to make a magazine that would be a positive influence in young women's lives. The goal: female empowerment. Through articles about body image, the over-sexualization and objectification of women in our culture, music and advertising, conscious living and how the media affects women, HILARY Magazine has helped millions of women alter their views and create a more healthy and accepting outlook on women and themselves.
