Will Survivor's Mark Burnett Survive A $70 Million Lawsuit?
In the lawsuit, Conrad Riggs has identified that he and Mark Burnett has produced more than a dozen television projects. While Burnett takes care of the creative aspect of the shows, Riggs focuses on the financial success of the enterprise. However, Burnett allegedly broke a long-standing agreement to give 10 percent of Burnett's profits to Riggs.
Burnett stopped paying Riggs in February 2007 after he refused to sign a contract formalizing their long-standing verbal agreement. Riggs reasoned out that he did not sign the contract because the terms in the contract is different form their "agreements and practices."
Burnett and his lawyer are not available for interview as of the moment.
Meanwhile, call casting for the 18th season of Survivor is still on-going. Check out this casting if you think you have what it takes to spend weeks on a desert island, battling 15 other contestants while trying to hunt for food!
