New Casting For NBC's "Law & Order"

Casting Director is looking for union and non-union actors to star in the upcoming episode of NBC's "Law & Order."

SEEKING:

.) FEMALE (35-42; Black) - COURTNEY OSBORNE. Authoritative and attractive. She runs the New York chapter of Vox Pop - a liberal political organization. One of her volunteers has been murdered and an investigation ensues. It appears that the murdered volunteer, Jim Lasky, was actually an "undercover" militant Republican who was attempting to undermine Vox Pop and destroy its reputation. Some of the "dirt" uncovered by Lasky involves Courtney's affair with Vox Pop CEO Davis Webb. LEAD;

.) MALE (45-53; White) - DAVIS WEBB. The CEO of Vox Pop, a liberal political organization. His organization has done a lot of good over the years. Although primarily viewed as liberal activists, they have successfully reached across the aisle to effect positive change in housing and minimum wage reform. When a Vox Pop volunteer is murdered the police investigation reveals some foul play at Vox Pop but Webb argues that the foul play is in no way connected to the murder and suggests that the DA may want to think twice before acting against Vox Pop. LEAD;

.) MALE (late 30s-40s; White) - JERRY GANZ. Libertarian, lives in a modest home on Staten Island. A bit of a hothead who does not like the government or law enforcement getting into his business. Jim Lasky , a volunteer for Vox Pop (a liberal political organization), had been soliciting folks in Ganz's neighborhood to register to vote. Ganz did not take kindly to Lasky's hard sell and he is further enraged when he learns that Lasky had been secretly videotaping their encounter. When Lasky is found murdered, detectives target Ganz as one of their prime suspects. LEAD;

.) FEMALE (mid 20s; Black) - MARISSA RUMSTEAD. 24, works at Vox Pop. She is Courtney Osborne's assistant. Like everyone at Vox Pop, her political views are progressive and she is dedicated to the mission. Her enthusiasm for advancing Vox Pop's agenda gets her into trouble, as she appears to be part of an extortion plan that would benefit Vox Pop. FOUR SCENES;

.) MALE (30s; Hispanic) - ARTURO RAMIREZ. Big guy, at least 6'2". A dedicated Vox Pop volunteer. He was one of the more ardent, vocal activists in the group. He has been arrested a few times at Vox Pop demonstrations. TWO SCENES;

.) MALE (late 30s-mid 40s; White) - LINUS KEPLER. A granola-eating, food co-op, nature type. Not interested in politics, just interested in simple living and keeping to himself;

.) MALE (40s; Black) - ADAM OSBORNE. Married to Courtney Osborne, works at a prestigious Manhattan public relations firm;

.) MALE (mid 20s; White) - JIM LASKY. 25, eager, politically astute. He is working for a liberal political organization called Vox Pop, mostly trying to register voters. Unbesknownst to his peers, he is actually a staunch Republican looking to uncover wrongdoing in the Vox Pop organization.Three scenes (two are on video);

.) MALE (late 20s; White) - TED MUNSON. 27, a volunteer for Vox Pop - a liberal political organization. He is going door to door trying to register voters. One of the other Vox Poppers he had been working with is found murdered. TWO SCENES;

.) MALE (mid 20s; White) - TERRY. 25, Vox Pop volunteer. He is one of the more volatile members of the organization. When detectives show up to arrest Marissa Rumstead he immediately claims that the NYPD is framing Marissa. THREE SCENES;

.) MALE (mid 20s; White) - NEIL ARNETT. 25, white, an actor who is waiting tables at a Manhattan pub. He and murder victim Jim Lasky shared a dorm room together back in college. He knew Lasky when he was a militant conservative;

.) FEMALE (mid 30s; Black) - MICHELLE GADDIS. 35, she works at Vox Pop Enterprises. She helps to coordinate the volunteers. When one of the volunteers is murdered, detectives question Michelle about some of the office procedures;

.) MALE (late 20s; White) - WETZEL. 27, works at an audiovisual company in Brooklyn. His company was working on enhancing audio on some footage dropped off by Jim Lasky;
