Theatre Open Call For "The Grapes of Wrath"

Metropolitan Playhouse is casting The Grapes of Wrath (Mark Harborth, dir. Rehearsals begin Jan. 30; runs Feb. 27-March 29, 2009) and The Philadelphia Story (Michael Hardart, dir.; Rehearsals begin March 20; runs April 17-May 17, 2009). Producers are also casting the East Village Theater Festival; festival includes: Alphabet City (solo performances based on interviews with East Village residents) and East Village Chronicles, Vol. 7 (short new plays inspired by the history of the East Village). Rehearsals for the festival begin July 6; runs Aug. 3-23).
